The Dirty Reds had to overcome a fine performance from Kingston Township pitcher Chase Sims to grab a 5-4 win at Lang Park. Sims allowed 2 earned runs over 8 innings. With the loss, Kingston Township sinks to 8-8.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with San Mateo trailing 4-2, Jesús Gómez hit a cutter from David Blake for a 3-run home run, giving the Dirty Reds the walk-off win.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Gómez.
