Victory Over Northern Lions BC Takes D.C. to 10-3
The D.C. Divided topped the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 7-4, in United States Silver League action at Washington Stadium. The player of the game was D.C. third baseman Billy Dotson. Kent Martin picked up the win, improving his season record to 2-1. He struck out 2 in 6 innings. The Northern Lions BC, now 3-10, continue their slow start.

Dotson came through with some timely hitting for D.C.. With the score 4-4 in the bottom of the fifth and two down, Dotson hit a 2-0 cutter for a run-scoring double. His 3rd double of the season made it 5-4, D.C..

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Dotson told the D.C. Daily News.
