Colorado beat the Northern Lions BC, 9-8. Crum was named the player of the game despite the loss. Colorado reliever Mamadou Boutin got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Colorado used the timely hitting of Robby Sinor to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Billy Goats on top, 9-6. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I've been criticized for being a slacker, but the one thing I do care about is winning," Sinor told the Colorado Daily.
