Northern Lions BC Hope Win Turns Around Slow Start
The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC picked up a win at The Lighthouse, knocking off the Long Island Lighthouse, 6-4. Starting pitcher Hervé Favier, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The win gives Thunder Bay a record of 2-4.

Thunder Bay used the bat of Keaton Kringlen to get the win. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Northern Lions BC ahead, 4-2. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Favier said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
