Multi-HR Day for Tafalla as Knights Overpower Mockingbirds, 4-1
With third baseman Eustacio Tafalla leading the charge, the Kingston Township Knights defeated the Mississippi Mockingbirds, 4-1, at Cloverdale Legion Park. Tafalla went 3-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Jin-oong Mae got the win, improving to 1-0. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 2 hits and 1 run, while striking out 11 and walking 4. David Blake was called on to finish, recording his 3rd save.

With Kingston Township leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Tafalla hit a fastball from Cedomil Dudukovic for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Knights ahead, 4-1.

Tafalla attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."

Kingston Township, at 3-1, has sizzled in the early going.
