Benefiting from Kolby Hay's productive game, the Ft. Worth Cattlemen downed the Mississippi Mockingbirds, 11-8. Hay was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs for the Cattlemen. Reliever Sima Babic picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Javier Benavides took the loss. Jack Buyse sewed up the save, his 2nd.

Ft. Worth took a 11-8 lead on Tippi Degré's 2nd hit of the season. The 2-run single, which Degré hit in the top of the tenth, left Mississippi pitcher Javier Benavides shaking his head.

"I felt good up there," said Hay. "I saw the ball well."
