Cattlemen Come Back Late to Top Elite

The Ft. Worth Cattlemen and Detroit Elite obliged those fans who came to The Cattle Pen looking for a good time.
Peter Holland left his imprint on the 6-5 Ft. Worth win against the Detroit Elite. Holland went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times. The winner was Ft. Worth reliever WyDale Curry, now 3-2. The loser was Salim Fakhir. Blair Wright notched his 15th save in 16 chances.
Had Semo Hoaloha not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Hoaloha hit a 3-run home run. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Cattlemen.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Holland, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
The current losing streak for Detroit has reached 4 games.
