The Long Island Lighthouse grabbed a 12-6 win over the Mississippi Mockingbirds at Magnolia Park. Long Island first baseman Mark Toope was 4-5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice to earn player of the game honors. Nolan Howard was the winning pitcher. Over 7.2 innings, he allowed 6 runs on 10 hits, with no walks and 5 strikeouts.
