Victory Pushes Dirty Reds Record to 51-42
The San Mateo Dirty Reds defeated the Detroit Elite, 8-4, at Detroit Stadium today. Leading the charge for San Mateo was center fielder Quitério Ruah. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Travis Morgan picked up the win with 7.2 innings of work. He allowed 4 earned runs on 7 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 4. On the season, he is now 13-5. San Mateo is in 4th place in the Silver League with a record of 51-42.

Ruah made an early impact for San Mateo when he stroked his 10th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came in the top of the second, put the Dirty Reds on top, 5-0.
