van Oosterom Visits Children at Cancer Treatment Center Thursday, December 26th, 2041 Grey Wolves shortstop Phil van Oosterom took time out from his busy schedule today to visit a local children's cancer treatment center. van Oosterom signed autographs and took pictures with many of the young patients. He even gave several of them caps, jerseys, and gloves. "Just seeing the smiles on these kids' faces, knowing what they've gone through, it just warms your heart", said a beaming van Oosterom. When asked who his favorite player was, one little boy smiled broadly and exclaimed, "Phil van Oosterom!" |
