The Pittsburgh Kingfishers moved to within one game of the Round 2043 today, downing the Toledo Stingers on the road at Pacesetter Park by a score of 5-2. Kingfishers left fielder Royce Foster was named player of the game after he went 2-2 with a double and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The win gives the Kingfishers a - advantage in the best-of- Round 2042.

Pittsburgh used the bat of Phil McCroskey to get the win. The designated hitter hammered a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Kingfishers ahead, 3-2. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"It was a good win," Pittsburgh manager Tyler Johnson told BNN reporters after the game. "I told them I was proud of them. These guys are professional ballplayers, they know how to get motivated without my help."
