Victory Pushes Kingfishers Record to 57-41
The Pittsburgh Kingfishers beat the Kingston Township Knights, 13-6, at Pittsburgh Grounds. The win was largely due to the efforts of designated hitter Rafael Abasto, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Pittsburgh reliever Edmond McCord was credited with the win, to go to 4-0. Jin-oong Mae took the loss for Kingston Township. Pittsburgh goes to 57-41, Kingston Township to 62-36.

Abasto had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-2 fastball from Jin-oong Mae, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Kingfishers a 5-2 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Abasto.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Tyler Johnson said.
