Wonder Goes on Rampage Against Lakers
Tony Wonder was at the head of a Brooklyn hit parade today at LA Forum. The right fielder went to the plate 6 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the Dodgers to a 13-7 victory over the Echo Park Lakers.

"I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Wonder told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today."

Lakers skipper Jordan Calhoun said later that the club gave up "too much plate."

"Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that."

Tony Wonder flied out in the 1st, walked in the 4th, tripled in the 6th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 10th, hit an RBI triple in the 12th and singled in the 14th.

So far this year Wonder is batting .367 with 20 home runs.
