Grover Barbaran helped his team muscle past the Panama City Piranhas, 7-4. In the game, the Toledo shortstop went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. With the win over Panama City, the Stingers improved to 41-32.

Pedro Serano, who finished 5th in the 3L in extra base hits with 49 in 2039, aided the Toledo cause with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the first baseman was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
