Multi-HR Game for Adkison in 7-4 Win
The Oakland Oaks trumped the Vancouver Grey Wolves, 7-4, at Oakland Coliseum. Oakland center fielder Cornelius Adkison was named player of the game for his performance. He went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Oakland reliever Mark Smith got the win, raising his record to 2-2. Mark Erwin was tagged with the loss. Carlos Rodríguez nailed down his 9th save.

Oakland took a 5-2 lead on Yu-zeng Si's 13th hit of the season. The 2-run single, which Si hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Vancouver pitcher Quan Shiu shaking his head.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Si.

The Oaks now have a record of 17-17 with the win over Vancouver.
