Wakabayashi Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Kingston Township in Walk-Off Win
The Kingston Township Knights beat the Vancouver Grey Wolves, 8-7, at Cloverdale Legion Park. The win was largely due to the efforts of third baseman Eustacio Tafalla, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 times. Kingston Township, now 17-9, holds second place in the Third League.

Kingston Township took a 8-7 lead on Takenao Wakabayashi's 16th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Wakabayashi hit in the bottom of the tenth, left Vancouver pitcher Quan Shiu visibly frustrated.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Wakabayashi said.
