LaBarge Now 1-0 After Subduing Dodgers
|
The Pittsburgh Kingfishers went home winners at Pittsburgh Grounds, thanks in large part to starter Jared LaBarge. LaBarge silenced the Brooklyn Dodgers, enabling Pittsburgh to grab the 4-0 win. With their winning streak at 5, the Kingfishers have raced to a strong start this season.
The Dodgers had trouble solving LaBarge, who surrendered no earned runs on 3 hits over 7 innings.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," LaBarge said.
