Lighthouse Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Pandas
Long Island and Montana duked it out at Panda Park and the Lighthouse came out victorious.

Montana third baseman Shimei Miura was sensational. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Long Island beat the Pandas, 6-4. Miura was named the player of the game despite the loss. Earning his 1st save of the year was Onson Sweemey.

Jonas van Claveren, who won the Outstanding Hitter Award in 2036, aided the Long Island cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh. For the game, the second baseman was 1 for 3 with 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said van Claveren.

With the win, Long Island pushes its record to 3-2.
