SAA Star of the Week Chosen Monday, May 23rd, 2039 27-year-old Ernest O'Neal made a few Virginia Beach headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USSL Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 13 hits in 23 at-bats to put up a .565 average. O'Neal collected 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and scored 5 runs. O'Neal is batting .385 with 2 home runs and 6 RBIs this season. |
