SAA Names Bond Outstanding Pitcher Award Winner Sunday, October 9th, 2039 This year there was no one better on the mound than Dan Bond. Posting 10 wins and a 2.66 ERA was only part of the story for the Westwood superstar. For his outstanding performance in 2039 he was chosen as the USSL Double A Outstanding Pitcher Award winner. From start to finish Bond never let up. In 23 starts he recorded 10 wins and 6 losses, 145.1 innings, 141 strikeouts, 35 walks, yielded 117 hits, and permitted opposing batters to hit .220 against him. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Jorge Oyas of the Casper Ghosts finished second in voting, while John Penton of the Casper Ghosts finished third.
