At the age of 23, Felipe Deleón says he still has a lot to learn about life in USSL Double A.

But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the Westwood Sixshooters reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2039 USSL Double A Reliever of the Year Award.

"I hope to win this a few more times before all is said and done in my career," the San Pedro Ayampuc, Guatemala native said.

For the season, Deleón had 30 saves in 40 relief appearances, which totaled 39. He fanned 27 betters, while walking 18 and put up a record of 1-2 to go with his 1.62 ERA.

He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 10. Von Hansen of the Lancaster Farmers finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Juan Colón of the Northville Eclipse finished third with 1 first place vote.
