SAA's #1 Batter Chosen Saturday, October 1st, 2039 Kevin Bates is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Durham center fielder joined that select company when the USSL Double A announced the results of September's voting. Bates totaled 22 hits, 8 walks, 4 home runs, 14 RBIs and 19 runs scored last month to put together a .415 batting average and .492 on-base percentage. In his career Bates has played in 101 games, batted .303 with 24 home runs and 128 base hits. |
