Wild Card Clinched by Irving Friday, September 16th, 2039 It wasn't quick or easy for the Irving Blue Sox, but they have clinched a berth in the postseason. While they couldn't capture the Silver AA crown, the club has cinched up a wild card berth late in the season. "You come close to not getting a chance in the postseason and it starts to worry you," said reliever José Colón. "This is a huge relief for our guys and we're going to celebrate it." The team will be looking for its 3rd USSL Double A championship. |
