SAA's Best Player Named Monday, August 22nd, 2039 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USSL Double A, but last week Ambrose Watkins of the Lancaster Farmers reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Watkins rocked opposing pitching for a .455 average (10-for-22), 3 home runs and 6 RBIs to come away with the award. A look at his season totals shows Watkins with 5 home runs, .329 BA, .367 OBP, 34 RBIs and 37 runs scored. |
