Eclipse Polonius Lost for Year Wednesday, August 10th, 2039 The season is finished for Ryson Polonius of the Northville Eclipse. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Eclipse starting pitcher suffered a torn meniscus while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Durham Rapiers. Team doctors said it would take at least 4-5 months to heal. Thus far this season, Polonius has tossed 79.2 innings in 16 starts, fanned 84 batters, walked 28 and put up a 5.20 ERA with 4 wins and 4 losses. |
