The Irving Blue Sox knotted up the SL AA Championship at The Graveyard today, thanks in large part to starter Donnie Rawling. Rawling quieted the Casper Ghosts, enabling Irving to grab the 3-0 win and move into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 series.

Rawling allowed no earned runs on 3 hits over 7 innings for the Blue Sox. He walked 1 and struck out 6.

"We didn't score," said losing manager Mark Harrison. "That was the problem."

Game 3 is scheduled for Saturday in Irving. Slated to start are Wilson Tamayo for the Casper Ghosts and Joe Holland for the the Irving Blue Sox.
