Victory Pushes Ghosts Record to 64-36
|
The Casper Ghosts picked up a win at Imps Park, knocking off the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 6-3. Starting pitcher Tomás Mata, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The Ghosts own a robust 64-36 mark.
Casper used the clutch hitting of Magtanggol Florencio to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Ghosts the lead, 3-2. For the game, Florencio had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Mata told the Casper Bulletin.
