Old-Timers Park was the site for USSL Double A action featuring the Northville Eclipse and Irving Blue Sox.

Irving first baseman Nikolai Volkoff had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Northville Eclipse, 8-3. Ken French earned the save for Irving, his 1st of the year.

Kent Maxwell went 1-4 with a double and a walk for Irving. The 25-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the fourth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Pi-ao Tsao. It was his 11th RBI of the season.

"We'll savor this win," Volkoff told the Irving Herald, "then get ready for the next game."

The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Irving.
