Starting pitcher Dave Shepard pitched well enough to help the Casper Ghosts beat the Durham Rapiers by the score of 5-3. Shepard went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 0, and struck out 2. His record improves to 10-5. Norberto Huerta converted his 16th save in 17 tries.
