Big Day by Primorac Ignites Eclipse Win
|
Josip Primorac was instrumental in his team's 8-4 triumph over the Virginia Beach Whales. The first baseman was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Northville Eclipse. Driscoll Craft got the win, improving to 6-6. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 7 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 3. Northville, now 49-45, holds 5th place in the Silver AA.
Northville shortstop Javier López delivered a 2-run home run in the top of the second. Overall, he went 3 for 4, including 1 home run, 1 single, and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 3.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," López told the Northville Chronicle.
