The Lancaster Farmers topped the Yakima Hops by the score of 11-9, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Frank Tatum. Tatum was 2 for 4 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Farmers on the day. Lancaster reliever Keith Lawrence got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Kai-ge Moy was tagged with the loss. Earning his 19th save of the year was Von Hansen.

Lancaster took the lead in the top of the fifth when Tatum hit a 2-run double. His 15th double of the season made the score 7-6, Lancaster.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Tatum, "but we got it done."
