Farmers Take Tight Tilt
|
Lancaster played host to Ithaca at the friendly confines of Farmers Field.
The Lancaster Farmers trumped the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 4-3, at Farmers Field. Lancaster left fielder Keaton Kringlen was named player of the game for his performance. He went 4-4 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI. Von Hansen was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 18 of 19 save opportunities.
Had Sincere Wushon David not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, David hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Farmers.
"We're scuffling right now," said losing manager Jeff Walsh.
Ithaca's current losing streak has reached 6 games.
