The Fighting Imps faced a stiff challenge from Irving pitcher Donnie Rawling, but persevered to claim a win at Imps Park. The final score was 5-4. Rawling went 7 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Reliever Maximiano Mealha picked up the win. His record improves to 1-3. José Colón took the loss. Ithaca is now 21-32, while Irving is 31-22.

Tony Randolph took José Colón deep in the bottom of the 13th. His solo home run put the Fighting Imps on top, 5-4. In all, Randolph had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 6.
