The Yakima Hops went home winners at Sixshooters Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Chris McDonald. McDonald silenced the Westwood Sixshooters, enabling Yakima to grab the 5-1 win. McDonald picked up the win for Yakima, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 4-3. With the victory, the Hops record now stands at 25-27.

Yakima needed the clutch hitting of Tak-wai Jia to notch the win. The catcher hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Hops on top, 2-1. For the game, Jia had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
