Great Day for Sterling in Hops Win
The Yakima Hops thumped the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 8-1, at Hops Park. Raheem Sterling was a big reason his team got the win. Sterling was 2-2 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Yakima bumps their record to 21-25 with the win.

The Hops grabbed the lead in the bottom of the seventh. With two out, Miguel Pacheco hit a grand slam home run off Maximiano Mealha, putting Yakima in front, 8-0. For Pacheco, it was his 6th home run of the season.

"We maximized our offense today," said Yakima skipper Leonardo Sánchez. "That makes everyone's life easier."
