Ghosts Roll to 8-3 Win Over Farmers
|
Starting pitcher Jorge Oyas pitched well enough to help the Casper Ghosts beat the Lancaster Farmers by the score of 8-3. The win was Amadi Azagba's in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Carlos González took the loss for Lancaster. The Ghosts now have a record of 20-15 with the win over Lancaster.
The result might have been different for Casper, had it not been for Jared Schneider. The second baseman produced a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Ghosts ahead, 5-3. For the game, Schneider had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Schneider.
