Northville Eclipse starter Driscoll Craft pitched a strong game against the Yakima Hops at Old-Timers Park, leading the Eclipse to a 8-3 win. The Eclipse are now 14-10, while the Hops fall to 9-15.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the second, with the game tied, Daniel Divina was at the plate when Northville scored 2 on an error. The miscue enabled the Eclipse to go in front, 2-0.

"We maximized our offense today," said Northville skipper Thomas Kemp. "That makes everyone's life easier."
