Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Walke Mehoff, the Casper Ghosts defeated the Yakima Hops, 5-1. Mehoff was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Ghosts. With the loss, Yakima sinks to 7-11.

Mehoff came through with some timely hitting for Casper. With the score 0-0 in the top of the fourth and two down, Mehoff hit a 1-0 fastball for a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season made it 2-0, Casper.
