Wallace Shines in Sixshooters Win
|
It was a good time at Sixshooters Stadium, where fans came to watch the Irving Blue Sox and Westwood Sixshooters get after it.
Westwood catcher Sean Wallace had a 5-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 7-4 win over the Irving Blue Sox. Felipe Deleón closed it out for his 3rd save.
Westwood took a 5-4 lead on Derek Kelly's 9th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Kelly hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Irving pitcher Joe Holland visibly frustrated.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Wallace said.
The win takes Westwood to 5-4.
