Morterero Named Top Reliever for PR Wednesday, September 23rd, 2037 António Morterero said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 21 years old. But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Hudsonville Flanderses rising star has won the USPL Rookie Reliever of the Year Award for 2037. He captured the award on the strength of his 1.34 ERA over 87.1 innings. He also had 6 saves in 43 relief appearances, 150 strikeouts and only 15 walks. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Felipe Deleón of the Long Island Ducks finished second in voting, while William Morán of the Hudsonville Flanderses finished third.
