Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Sunday, August 24th, 2036 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Valley View-Surprise contest at Hillandale Grounds. The Cougars Denis Perrin and the Shockers Jayden Fairhead will have to sit out 3 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This year Perrin is batting .271 with 86 hits and 3 home runs. He has scored 24 times and has batted in 33 runs. This year Fairhead has fashioned a 3-8 mark, 3.87 ERA and pitched 116.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .303 against him and he has logged 89 strikeouts. |
