Flanderses Lose Al-Saodi for Season Monday, August 31st, 2037 The season is finished for Basem Al-Saodi of the Hudsonville Flanderses. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Flanderses starting pitcher suffered a sore shoulder while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Fort Knox Centennial. Team doctors said it would take at least 4 months to heal. This year Al-Saodi has gone 5-1 with an ERA of 2.38 and has 81 strikeouts in 64.1 innings. |
