PR Awards Best Batter Prize to Geertsen Monday, August 17th, 2037 This week's recipient of the USPL Rookie Player of the Week Award is third baseman Jamy Geertsen of Crowley. Geertsen showed great patience at the plate, collecting 9 hits in 16 at-bats as he compiled a .562 average, 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Thus far this season Geertsen has hit .259 with 2 home runs, 36 RBIs and scored 36 times. |
