Silva Given 3-Game Suspension Saturday, July 25th, 2037 Lead Sox center fielder Armando Silva will begin a 3-game suspension today for a confrontation with an umpire in a recent Indiana-Surprise clash. The league suspended him for "inappropriate and aggressive actions" toward an umpire. Silva profusely argued a third strike call and was eventually ejected by the home plate umpire. This season Silva is batting at a .236 clip with 5 home runs and 25 RBIs. |
