Loons Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Wednesday, August 26th, 2037 The 2037 USPL Double A season has a ways to go still, but the final weeks won't have playoff implications for the Minnesota Loons -- they were officially eliminated from postseason contention today. Minnesota last appeared in the postseason in 2035. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 17 times in their 22-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Loons have missed the playoffs 7 times. Minnesota has won the PL AA Championship 3 times in their history. |
