Westwood Comes up Empty Against Smith Sunday, July 5th, 2037 It wasn't easy but the Atlantic City Sonics made it look that way. Starter Robert Smith shut out the Westwood Sixshooters despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Atlantic City Sonics cruised to victory, 8-0. Smith allowed only 3 hits and rang up 7 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up."
