Romero Grabs PL Reliever of the Year Award Sunday, November 1st, 2037 The manager of the Portland Evergreens said he always had confidence handing the ball to Raśl Romero out of the bullpen. The 29-year-old was a dominant performer all year for Portland and his efforts have been rewarded with the United States Premier League Reliever of the Year Award for 2037. The bullpen ace had an impressive 1.81 ERA this season, with 16 saves in 54 relief appearances. He fanned 121 batters in 94.2 innings and sported a record of 14 wins and 2 losses. Leo Ingelbrigtsen of the Boston Patriots finished second in voting, while Kenji Aoki of the Philadelphia 1776 BC finished third. |
