Fitzgerald Gets a Shock, Will Miss Time Sunday, October 11th, 2037 Silver Sox second baseman Chris Fitzgerald received medical attention yesterday after suffering minor burns at his home. Fitzgerald was apparently attempting to fix an appliance when he received an electrical shock that burned his left hand. According to teammate Manuel Ramos, who spoke to Fitzgerald shortly after the accident, the injury will likely keep Fitzgerald out of action for the next few days, but there is no reason to believe he will suffer any long-term side effects. |
