Ashley Day-to-Day with Injury Friday, August 7th, 2037 Is Gary Ashley going to tough it out and play through an injury? We'll get the chance to find out 1-2 weeks as the outstanding New Orleans starting pitcher attempts to shrug off an elbow strain he sustained throwing a pitch against the Las Vegas Flamingos. Whether management lets him play or handles him with kid gloves will depend mostly on how Ashley feels on a day-to-day basis. But there's little doubt that the New Orleans Voodoo will be happy for the talented player to return at full strength as soon as possible. Currently Ashley has a 5-2 won-lost record in 11 starts with a 4.02 ERA. He also has 58 strikeouts in 56 innings. |
