The Boston Patriots downed the Philadelphia 1776 BC, 8-1, at Ben Franklin Memorial Coliseum. The Patriots were led by Wilbur Davis, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win was Jaganmani Vivek's in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Blair Wright took the loss for Philadelphia 1776. The Patriots keep rolling, raising their record to 15-4.

With Boston leading 3-0 in the top of the fifth, Davis hit a sinker from Blair Wright for a 2-run home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Patriots ahead, 5-0.
